Hello, World! Computer programming is a very exciting field. It is the foundation on which software is built.

We all know how software has influenced various aspect of our lives today. We also know that it is going to influence our lives even more in the future. And just like the the famous software engineer, Marc Andreessen, pointed out, software is actually “eating our world” – in a good way though.

One interesting thing to note is that the exciting potentials of software also implies the increasing importance of computer programming. Indeed, if software is eating our world, then computer programming is the “teeth” that software is using to eat it. Those who will control tomorrow are invariably the programmers of today.

I was lucky to discover this truth sometime in 2015. Thus, I started to learn computer programming that year. I started learning with the C programming language.

I focused on learning the core programming concepts more than the language, because I had been advised that the concepts are more important than the language. And that turned out to be a valuable piece of advice as I found out, after mastering the core concepts, that it became quite easy for me to learn subsequent programming languages.

Today, I have learnt several programming languages and have also developed several pieces of software (I will introduce the most exciting of them in subsequent posts.)

If you reading this post and you are a programmer looking to learn tips to hone your programming skills, then I welcome you on board. Be rest assured that you will be consistently fed with quality and useful tips that have been tested and trusted. Some of the tips would even come directly from my experience of what works and what does not work in computer programming.

On the other hand, if you are reading this post and you have not started to learn computer programming. You are still at the right place. Just pick yourself up and start learning programming starting from today. A journey of a thousand miles, they say, begins with a step.

In any case, I welcome you to this blog. This is my first post. I urge you to be on the look out for the next post. Together, we will conquer the future!
